About 350 WA
The 350 Washington Network unites the eleven 350.org-affiliated but financially and strategically independent local groups across Washington state to grow the global people-powered movement for climate justice. 350.org is an internationally recognized global organization that connects organizers for climate justice across the world.
For over 10 years, we have been organizing for widespread systemic change that guarantees a healthy planet for all living beings.
350 WA’s independent local groups have a strong history of successfully organizing for climate policy and environmental justice at the local and regional levels — with big wins like 350 Seattle’s Fossil Free King County ordinance, 350 Spokane’s 100% Clean Energy commitment from city council, plus groundbreaking coalition and policy efforts like Seattle for a Green New Deal.
We’ve worked with local tribes and community groups to stop over a dozen proposed coal, oil, and gas infrastructure projects in WA state. We’ve also supported the mass mobilizations of tens of thousands for fossil fuel divestment and youth-led climate strikes across the state, and organized for climate emergency resolutions and proclamations at the city level in Tacoma and Yakima.
At 350 WA we combine our skills and experience in grassroots climate advocacy for a united and coordinated effort to move sound and just climate policy forward in Washington State in alignment with our shared mission and values.
We are 350 Bellingham, 350 Eastside, 350 Everett, Kitsap Environmental Coalition, Olympic Climate Action, 350 Seattle, 350 Spokane, 350 Tacoma, 350 Wenatchee, Vashon Climate Action Group, and 350 Yakima.
